President, WeDJ.com | He has spent twenty five years in the wedding industry and is currently the President/CEO of Anaglyph Consulting, parent company of WeDJ.com and its affilliates. Scott has a Masters Degree in Science and an Undergraduate degree in Mathematics, with a communications Minor. During the past eight years he has gained a tremendous experience in Search Engine Positioning, and is the key designer for Gigbuilder.
Scott began his DJ career in 1983 where he regularly performed at church socials. Several years later he worked in a nightclub.
While attending college, he opened his own club and regularly performed at multiple locations every week.
In 1991, Scott moved to Peoria, IL and began working for a local DJ who specialized in weddings. In just one year Scott was performing at least three times a month. This trend continued until 2002, when Scott decided to DJ part-time so that he could focus his efforts on WeDJ.com and Gigbuilder.
To-date, he has performed well over 1,000 events, mostly weddings.
During the 1990's, Scott also worked as a freelance consultant, writing web-based software for a number of large and medium sized businesses.
In 1997, Scott wrote the first-ever web-based application to check dates and run a DJ business online. Over the next four years he continued to develop and finally released Gigbuilder on January 1st, 2002.
When he's away from the office Scott enjoys spending free time with friends, going to sporting events (mostly hockey), boating, and travel. |
